Default Which Version?

Out of all the different versions of a Movie that are always released on DVD after it leaves the Theater, which version would you prefer the Movie Studios to always release to the public to see in the Theater instead of shelling out so much money on all the different versions that come out on DVD later on.

These are all the different versions there are; I think:
Theaterical Cut
Director's Cut
Extended Director's Cut
Unrated Director's Cut
Unrated Extended Director's Cut
Unrated Cut
Unrated Extended Cut
Extended Cut

You can make more than one choice when you vote.

Isn't basically everything you listed under Director's Cut just the director's cut? I mean, the director's cut is just a term used when the director adds back in what couldn't be there for rating reasons or time reasons or because they couldn't film something or whatever. And I've never heard of a studio wanting a director's cut without the director not wanting it, so any extended/unrated/whatever would still be a director's cut. On the other hand, the director's cut is sometimes the theatrical cut, seeing as how they take things out that they don't like, so why put them back in?

Anyway, Director's Cut would always be nice. A bit longer usually, and includes things that strengthen the shots.

That's just the way I've seen it on the DVD Covers or somewhere on the DVDs when they are for sale.

Different ways of saying the same thing. Depends on the studio and who's doing it. Also, using the word "unrated" definitely gets the "hardcore" crowd who thinks it's racier and more violent. It's like they're little kids now allowed to see what mommy and daddy have been hiding from them. That would generally go for films that are already pretty violent and obscene in the first place.

I went for Unrated Extended Director's Cut on the premise that this is the version the director wanted to make if he/she wasn't restricted on content and length by the studio and the MPAA/BBFC.

Let them release any theatre version they like, and when the DVD rolls around, put the director's cut on it. That worked great with The Lord of the Rings, and Brazil.

It should be the director's cut, that's the one he really wanted to show, adn that's the movie I really want to see.
