"POTC: Dead Man's Chest"

Pirates opens friday. I'm suprised there isn't any talk here about it. The movie looks great and I thought we had alot of pirates fans here. What do you guys think, I'm so pumped.

I'm going to go see it either Saturday or Sunday afternoon with a friend. I'm not that big of fan of the movies, but this one looks good. Since I've only seen the first one once, I'll have to watch it again to refresh my memory.

I saw it today and it was awesome! Very action/adventure and very funny, too. It was great! I like it better than the first one. I can't wait to see the third one!

the reviews have been mixed on this one. saw it yesterday and i had mixed feeling on it. it wasn't as great as the original and there was something lacking in jack sparrow. he wasn't as out there as the original. but here's hoping that they fix that for the third movie which will come out sometime next year. also i had to turn away everytime i saw keira knightly's jaw. i shudder at that. distracting.

I saw it at the weekend and really enjoyed it. Keira could have done with more screentime though in my opinion, Elizabeth is a great character

According to IMDB it's May 2007.

Yeah, I beleive it's sheduled for memorial day weekend next year. I cannot wait, if it's anything like that last one, it will we amazing.

Thanks! I've learned not to trust that site, but maybe that date is true. I'd be so happy if it was only a year we would have to wait.

Why would it ruin it if you sat in the front row? My two favorite quotes are in my signature. But I really love the one Jack says: I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by. I just think that line is so funny! We saw "Superman Returns" tonight and they played a commercial for "POTC 2" and that's one of the parts they showed and I still laugh at it.

I still laugh my ass off when I see the first one.

When I see the second one again I will probably laugh even more than I did the first time.

Well, it did ruin it a bit...it seemed like I had two choices: To watch the film(as much of the screen I could see), or read the subtitles. The subtitles are so huge in our theaters, and even though I don't have or need to read them, they take up so much of the screen...I don't know, I can't explain. I guess it was all too close, so not what I'm used to. I like sitting a place where I can see the whole screen and more. That way, you can focus better...or something. Like I said, hard to explain.

I would totally do that black chick with the weird accent in that shack in the swamp. Totally.

That line is really funny, too. I also thought the jar of dirt was funny, too. It actually came in handy (well, kind of). Why did your theater have subtitles?
