Let's sum it up again. It's not being made to be a "good" movie. It's being made because lots of people think the concept is hilarious, due to it's birth on teh grate and powrefule intarweb.

And because Sam Jackson insisted on it.

Greatest. Film. Ever. Made.

Cinematic history was made before my eyes. The chemistry between Samuel and the snakes is impeccable. The story, pacing, anticipated drama: flawless. The acting? Astounding. There was absolutely nothing bad about this movie. It's for everyone: animal lovers, people afraid to fly, rap moguls, video game enthusiasts, gay rights advocates, children lovers, people afraid of snakes, FBI aents, exotic animal enthusiasts... the list goes on.

Greatest movie ever.

i'm watching it right now and it's one of those movies where it starts slow but it starts to build up. this is going to be one hell of a ride. so far there is nothing bad about this movie. it's so funny they're stating the rules in case of an emergency. it just looks so funny.

im scared of snakes, as in REALLY scared of snakes. and im also alittle uncomfortable in planes. the trailer i saw when i was in canada looked bad but good enough to scare the sh*t out of me. dunno i guess its what solo said, no matter what anyone says were gonna see it anyway. im probably gonna see it aswell, or ill try. didnt wanna see it in canada tho cuz id had to fly back in a very short notice

But yeah, I wouldn't disagree with the notion that this is just viral marketing also, they listened to ideas from the blogs and actually implemented some of them in the film. They know what the people want because the people told them.

Pretty crazy and a resounding success from their standpoint. It's strange how the whole thing worked, somebody circluates a story about Sam rejecting the movie unless "Snakes on a Plane" is the title and it blew up from there.
