Point of RAISE YOUR VOICE

Don't get me wrong .. Duff is a great role model in today's society and she's gorgeous .. but another movie with a plot like RAISE YOUR VOICE? There's [Brave New Girl] plays for FREE on ABC family with a better singer .. Raise Your Voice just has a hotter guy .. Not bothering to see this movie !!

I did hear that it is a remake. I didn't know that. So that maybe way it seems like that other movie.

Yeah, her brother dies. Here is the info on it from Y! Movies:

There's a bunch of movies playing on TV with a very-similar plot to RAISE YOUR VOICE .. i won't spend $8.25 to watch hilary squeak and squeal [ that accapella on the commercial is so not her .. if she could sing like that, it'd be in all her songs !!! ] when i can watch a decent singer at home
