| I'd have to say the first Men in Black. I saw it in theatres on the opening day (I could barely sleep the night before I was so excited)...but when the film was over, I was left sorely disappointed. I think it could have been much better than it was, and even could have been a classic. They just didn't get it right, imho. |

| I liked the attempt at a deep plot that Hulk made. It just didn't work the way they did it. The frames and stuff just gave me a headache, and they spent a good half hour showing Bruce growing up and telling us he keeps his feelings bottled up instead of showing Banner bottling up his feelings. And the whole nanothings was unnecessary. I said in another thread that one of the themes of the Hulk was that Banner was working on a weapon of mass destruction, the gamma bomb, and in doing so became one himself. If there is a sequel, they should just stick to the formula of Banner gets pissed/Hulk Smash/Banner tries to cure himself/Army chases Banner/Army pisses Banner off/Hulk Smashes Army/Jennifer Connelly shows her boobies/repeat. Oh yeah, and Daredevil sucked ass. So did Matrix 2. Here's a hint Wachowskis...not everything has to be CGI! I swear, if someone in one of their movies sneezes, they'd have CGI snot flying out of their nose. I didn't even bother with the last one. It wasn't even a squeal to the movie because I found out that they are making a "Lilo & Stitch 2" (probably coming out sometime next year). I also didn't like "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen". It looked really good and funny in the commercials, but it wasn't all that great or really funny when I went to see it. |

Of course, I was watching it with the sound down, so maybe not. I was disappointed very much by the Matrix 2 and 3. I had no idea what the hell was going on for most of them. Shame, I really liked the first one. Also, Cold Mountain. I had been promised great things by fans of Anthony Minghella, and it was soporific, predictable... |

The 2nd was a great action film, the 1st being one of the best sci fi movies of the past 10 years. But the 3rd one sucked. It was all set up for a huge battle with the machines, and then....nothing. I'd have been p*ssed off at the machines for enslaving me for all of my life, but no war happened. To quote Bart Simpson: 'It sucks and blows'. |
