Jeepers Creepers Vs. Jeepers Creepers 2

The first Jeepers Creepers film, which came out in 2001, is a very good solid horror movie with very little to complain about. The sequel, Jeepers Creepers 2, which came out this year and now just came out on VHS and DVD, is I guess decent but not half as good or as scary as the first film. I like it, but it overall disappointed me and became kind of campy in some parts which made it less effective. Between the two movies, which one do you like better? My vote obviously goes for the first one. :cool:

There was a topic about this a while ago, I forget what I gave the movies. Right now I give them:

Jeepers Creepers- 6/10
Jeepers Creepers 2- 3/10

JP started off really interesting, but it went downhill soon into your average teen horror movie. Jeepers Creepers 2 didn't even have that interesting beginning, the whole movie was your average teen horror. JP2 only scores marginal points because there were one or two cool scenes like when the Creeper was staring at the teens through the window. But thats it.

Jeepers Creepers: 3.5/10

Jeepers Creepers 2: 2/10

I liked the first one up till the jail scene where he suddenly had wings and then it all got a bit stupid.

I have not seen the 2nd one but I was not impressed by watching the trailer.
