I think this movie looks like it could be really good. From what I've read/heard it's going to be as historically accurate as possible. I saw these tv spots and got really excited. What do y'all think?

I have never heard of it. Who is in it and who made it and when will it come out? I thought that maybe (if I'm right) the boy the the silly laugh in "Spy Kids 2" is playing in this movie, but I'm not sure. If I'm right, then I have kind of heard of this movie.

Billy Bob Thornton plays Davey Crockett, Dennis Quaid is in it, and I think that guy Patrick Wilson from Angels in America is in it too. Also, Jason patric plays a role. I think this looks pretty good, and I'm counting down to April 6th.

Supposedly they are going to show the Mexican side of the Conflict with equal importance as the Texas side.

I would be impressed by that, since most Texans and Americans would like to forget that this is the story of how a bunch of Redneck, Slave-holding Americans decided to Squat in Mexico and start a war about it.

Billie Bob Thornton-Davy Crockett
Dennis Quaid-Sam Houston(as in the City was named for him)
Jason Patric-Jim Bowie (creator of the Bowie knife)
