| February 11, 2004 — From Hollywood North Report's interview with David Goyer, director of Blade 3: As expected, there's a lot of action. "We had a lot of big stunts, more than the other films. We blew things up, smashed a lot of cars. We blew up, smashed and shattered $170,000 [US] in glass alone. "The big surprise for me was that it turned out quite funny, it has quite a bit of comedy. That's why I decided to cast a lot of people that had improvisational backgrounds or comedic backgrounds." In addition to Snipes, Kris Kristofferson returns as Blade mentor Whistler. Newbies include Jessica Biel (7th Heaven) as Whistler's daughter, Vancouver's Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder) as a vampire hunter in cahoots with Blade, Parker Posey (Best in Show) as the head vampire and wrestler Triple H as her sidekick. "I was really pleasantly surprised by Triple H," says Goyer. "(Others) were very keen on bringing him in but I wasn't a giant WWE fan. But he turned out to be completely professional, dedicated and humble, and very funny with great comedic timing. We ended up writing more scenes for him." Hopefully Goyer is right and he isnt as bad I am thinking. I think Parker Posey will be a hot little vamp. |

| Member ![]() | The first two Blade movies where great and this one is padding the cast. Jessica Beil has done some great work, Ryan Reynolds was hilarious in Two Guys and A Girl and Van Wilder so it will be interesting to see what he does here. Parker Posey is an indie film queen who can do some great work. Patton Oswalt is a great comedian and hilarious on King of Queen and Snipes and Kristofferson are back. And yes, being a wrestling fan, Im looking forward to see how Trips does. I dont like WWE can handle losing another star to Hollywood though. Rock will probably never be back full time, Goldberg left to do Santa's Slay, among other reasons, and Stone Cold wants to own his name so he can do outside projects. |

| This is the plot for the movie but i dont understnad it. See if you can figure out what is wrong with it. "In this third chapter, Blade (Wesley Snipes) joins forces with a group of vampire hunters called the Nightstalkers. The posse tracks the powerful Danica Talos, who has resurrected an ancient vampire (older than Dracula) known as Drake. Talos and Drake plot to unleash a virus that will kill all the vampires. But Blade and the Nightstalkers get one chance to thwart their foes." If you didnt figure it out. Its killing all the vampires a good thing? |
