Romero, is getting the remake treatment. The Hollywood Reporter says Warner Bros. Pictures is developing the remake, which will be produced by Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Entertainment along with Taka Ichise of OZ LA and Tony Ludwig. James Dudelson, the original rights holder, also is attached to produce. Although in the original anthology the stories -- which were written in the old 1950s EC Comics style -- were unconnected, the plan is to structure the new movie a la Go, where individual stories will have interconnected characters and situations. |

That is the one they are going to Remake & try to connect the stories together when they remake it, which I don't see how they are going to do that because in the original the stories never connectted in any way what-so-ever. | |

The synopsis reads: The fourth installment of the classic "Creepshow" series involves our old friend Billy, as he is now a proud employee of Creepshow Comics. Being a writer and artist for the company has taken its toll on Billy, and because of poor quality lately Billy's boss is threatening him with his job. He gives Billy one night to conjure up five shocking yarns for the next issue of Creepshow, or he will be fired. With his job on the line, Billy works late into the night cooking up tales involving a deranged author whose fiction fades into reality, a family whose house literally goes BUMP in the night, high school geeks who take revenge at Prom, a house where history has a way of repeating itself, and an evening with a grandfather and his granddaughter that resolves some issues from beyond the grave... |
