Godzilla. He would eat all those other guys in one gulp. Michael Myers is classic though. It's true that in Halloween 4-5 they made him kind of Jason-ish (which is weird because as we have established Mike had two movies under his belt before Jason ever made the big screen) but at his core Michael was always more of an assasin as where Jason was like a tank. Both are unkillable and superhumanly strong and wear masks, but Jason was definately the Johnny come lately. I think both have paid their dues though and are now classic movie monsters. But Godzilla... Gulp!

still, I don't believe when halloween came out, he was super human that could take all the damage that jason could. It wasn't till after Jason appeared that halloween series changed towards that. What I don't understand is HOW Michael can take the hits he does. They tried to do some sort of demonic thing in later movies.. what was that about?

The thing about Michael Myers is that when John Carpanter and Debra Hill made that movie it was basically about a phsycho killer who appearantly had no motive for his evil deeds. "Pure evil" as he was described in that movie by Dr. Loomis. It was his unmotivated acts of evil that were the point of the story. At the end when he disapears after being shot six times and falling off the second story of a house, it was the twist of the movie. It was suppose to make us wonder if he really was the "boogie man". Now in the second one they gave him a motive. He was killing off his family. John and Debra had very little to do with the second film and it is there view that Halloween should have been a one shot deal. Skipping Halloween 3 and going right into 4 and 5 They decided to extend the story of his rampage. In 6 they did reveal the "true" purpose of Michael which had something to do with him being the embodiment of an evil god. This is the explaination given by later script writers as to why he can survive all that he has survived. So he does have a reason for his powers, it just sucks. Personally, I agree with John and Debra and think that they should have stopped after the first one.
