There haven't been any in my city, but tons done in Toronto (however, I'm close enough to say I live in Toronto...the Greater Toronto Area...). I know the show Relic Hunter was filmed in Toronto. You can see tons of shots done at the University of Toronto. X-Men filmed the first scene with Prof. X and Magneto at the Roy Tomson Hall. A scene in Exit Wounds was done right in front of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation building. I once passed by a movie shoot inside the Eaton Centre like 10 years ago, and I've seen tons of other productions but I don't know what they were for.
