"It would be a prequel, if it happens," Lee said. Currently in the earliest stages of pre-production, Lee cautioned that he won't make the film until he's found the proper entry point. "I haven't found a new passion equivalent to the first one," Lee added.

Chow Yun-Fat, Michelle Yeoh and Ziyi Zhang, stars of the breakout 2000 film, have yet to sign on to reprise their characters. Lee, however, is keeping his focus on getting the film in proper shape. "Once I have the script, we'll see what happens with the actors."

Never seen the first one but I heard it was good.

It was good, I saw it in the theater, I had to read subtitles.

I couldn't watch a dubbed movie. It's too much mental work. Subtitles are way easier.
