Church Drops "Spider-Man 3" Villain Hints

Spider-Man 3 star Thomas Haden Church has dropped a few hints about which villain he is playing. 'Abysstare' says...

On page 57 of this week's double issue Entertainment Weekly (#826/827):

Quote:

EW: After reminding the world he could really act in Sideways, the Oscar nominee will play an undisclosed, top secret villain in 2007's Spider-Man 3. How about a hint?

THC: "He's a horse of many colors."

EW: There are horses in Spider-Man?

THC: "Let's just say he's an amorphous collection of protons, electrons, and neutrons, of different colors."

There's some more, but that's the only part with any clues.

I cannot think of what villian that could honestly be. Kind of sounds like Electro except that bit about "amorphous" and "of different colors".

My guess is Mysterio which is a kick ass villain or maybe Chameleon, but he's more a support villain and isn't cool enough for a movie.

That woulda been so awesome if they put in the Venom saga or a little bit of the "Man Spider".

I was reading another forum about this interview, and some people were thinking the biggest clue he was dropping was the amorphous bit. So they were thinking either Sandman or Venom (the symbiote can be all weird and misshapen).

He could also be bullsh*tting us and just saying a bunch of crap to make us speculate. My money is still on Sandman, though. And it would be kind of neat in the sense that Doc Ock was in Spidey 2, and his first appearance in the comics was in Amazing Spider-Man #3, and Sandman first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #4.

I read a little bit on IMDB and a lot of people think its going to be Sandman. I guess there was also rumors about a lot of sand being shipped around where the movies were being made but someone was talking about how the sand was for the Captain America movie or something. It's all silly and too early to tell. I can't wait for the film to come out though, I watched Spiderman 1 and 2 a few times this weekend heh [img]graemlins/bday.gif[/img]

Yeah, I heard those rumours too. It's still way too early to say anything about the movie for sure. When's it coming out, 2007? They probably won't tell us the villain(s) until next year.

i was under the impression that it was venom. I loved venom too, I definitely hope it's him.

Almost Every Fan is hoping it is Venom or Carnage in "Spider-Man 3".
