After the failed attempts at giving Catwoman her own film do you think she will appear in any 'Batman' sequels? Once 'Batman Begins' raps filming, a sequel is sure to follow, Bruce Wayne is going to have to meet up with Selina Kyle sooner or later. Question is, who would be your ideal Catwoman? My picks: Gina Gershon Eva Mendes Mia Kirshner Rebecca Romijn-Stamos They have all played seductive characters in previous films, so I could see anyone of them fill the role.

How about no more catwoman at all? :D I don't think there's a need for sequel to a movie like that... But out of your choices for an appearance in a batman movie, I think Gina Gershon is the best. I think she would be perfect for that role. [ November 05, 2004, 04:03 AM: Message edited by: BOG ]

After looking up the origin of Catwoman I came across something that was kind of interesting. It was an introduction of Catwoman into the DC Comics. Here's what it said, Batman #1 (Spring 1940) saw the first appearance of a young woman known only as The Cat. Even though she wore no special costume as yet, Batman was so taken by her that after her stolen loot was recovered, he let her get away! This issue also marked the first appearance of the Joker, and if you happen to have a mint condition copy, it's now worth $50,000! Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, The Cat and The Joker would join the menagerie of colorful Bat-villains that would plague the Capped Crusader to this very day. This would be an interesting plot outline if a sequel to 'Batman Begins' is ever made. It would introduce the Joker and Catwoman in the correct order in which they appeared in the comic books. Catwoman would finally get a background story that didn't involve getting resurrected by a bunch of cats, she would be as human as Batman is, which is what Batman is all about.

For cryin' out loud, the recent Catwoman movie was all about PR, because of Hallie Berry. Lke JLO they overhype her that is number 1 above all woman of beauty. The movie didn't hit big at the Box Office, WHY should they make a sequal. P.S. Gina is a nice choice. And speaking of casting characters, I think Sarah Michelle Gellar woujld have made a better BatGirl than that tubby has-been Silverstone. It takes that ***** a week to get a sentence out.

There're dozen actresses out there who are sexy and talented (enough) to play cat woman. The thing is, if Catwoman appears in a batman sequel, it's not the actress i'm looking for, it's the one who writes the script and directs the movie. About my idea Catwoman...well, surprise me. Frankly, i want to see a totally newbie playing catwoman-the kind that doesnt involve Oscar | |
