This is the final duet from the opera "La Rondine" by Giacomo Puccini which was broadcast live to North and South America and Europe on January 10, 2009 (the actual duet begins at 3:45). I was one of an estimated 100,000 people who enjoyed this broadcast. If this interests you, the 2009-2010 season begins on October 10 with "Tosca" by the same composer. See Met Opera.

(Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Angela Gheorghiu and Roberto Alagna are married.)

I think i could have been a good opera singer iif i had training.

Love the music FIX tvm i felt crying for a min at some certain point durng the chorus. I know Im very emo.

I know .I did that durung The Mostly Mozart week. but imagine me gawking at the Chagall mural there. I would take the bus to NYC just to gawk at it.

You know what you ought to do. Take a weekend off, just you and your hubby and play tourist. Besides the Met, I'd go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and/or the MOMA depending upon your tastes. Who knows, if they are still filming GG you might catch a glimpse of Chase or Ed.
