I was one of an estimated 100,000 people who enjoyed this broadcast. If this interests you, the 2009-2010 season begins on October 10 with "Tosca" by the same composer. See Met Opera. (Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Angela Gheorghiu and Roberto Alagna are married.) Last edited by MSFixR; 08-10-2009 at 02:36 PM.. |

Take a weekend off, just you and your hubby and play tourist. Besides the Met, I'd go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and/or the MOMA depending upon your tastes. Who knows, if they are still filming GG you might catch a glimpse of Chase or Ed. | Get some! ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks, appreciate it. Heard this song this morning as I returned from the store. Great driving song, its in Spanish but I can translate it real quick. Its a cover from an old song. "The Sun Does Not Return" Days ago I lost in some bar half of my soul, plus the 15 dollars in tips it's not that alcohol is the best medicine but it helps to forget when you do not see a way out. [chorus] I try to tell to you today that everything goes well even though you won't believe it although at this point the last effort is not worth it. Today the good memories they fall by the stairs and after several tequilas the clouds go away but the Sun doesn't return. [/chorus] Dreams of a room in front a highway hotel and drops of rain that I keep in this suitcase they roll by the mattress of my already deserted bed it's the best solution for the headache. [chorus x2] And after several tequilas the clouds go away but the Sun doesn't return. Last edited by FireBird; 08-25-2009 at 12:40 PM.. |
