similar to what silverspoon said, i dont think anyone would be worth seeing for one grand unless you magically brought elvis back from the dead to do a two hour gig!!

IF i had money, i'd CONSIDER paying for some all day/night festival with all my fave bands and artists on stage. Possibly something along the lines of live 8. Where you have legendary reunions on stage.

No question about it.

In total, I would pay a grand to have all my friends from around the world transported to my favorite venue in the city and have our favorite band play all our favorite songs as long as we say. That'd be worth every penny, but otherwise, no.

The only group I would have payed that kind of cash to see would be ABBA.
They were offered 1 billion $'s to do a reunion tour and turned it down.
