| MTFBWY ![]() ![]() ![]() | I want to start the thread about Asian music - mostly about Japanese, Chines and Korean Rock and POP music. I personaly was aqcuainted to this culture this Summer and now I am a grateful fan of J-Rock - especially such performers as LunaSea, Malice Mizer, Dir-En-Grey and fabulous and the most loved and appreciated Camui Gackuto. What do you think of this music if you have heard about this one? |

| I heard of Malice Mizer back when I was into anime. I really only listen to J-rock and pop because of the Japanese shows I watch. I've been listening to a bit of Psychic Lover recently. They did theme songs and in-show music for some Super Sentai shows. |

| Thanks. I like it. The hard rock sound with the use of the flute mixed in gives it (in my opinion) almost a mystical feel to it. However, for the vocals, the lead singer has a good voice but it's very melodic. There's quite a difference since most of the English-speaking rock singers have deeper and often sometimes scratchy tone of voices. This song from Gackt reminded me of Crossfade - Cold Overall, good stuff. If you have more links and other bands, post 'em, if you please. ![]() |

Japanese rock and pop always have better arrangements and instrumentation than Americans and Europeans. | |
