Lightbulb Rolling Stones

Never been a fan, but I LOVE "Paint it Black"... LOVE IT!

Any Rolling Stone fans out there know any albums I can start off with, or individual songs? I want to convert myself.

Thank you.

What some people consioder good, others see as annoying and overplayed.

Anyway.

"Gimme Shelter": You gotta know that one!
"Mother's Little Helper": great song about pill addiction, catchy riff played on a 12-string guitar.
"2000 Man": has something to it, but I don't know what. The first part sounds weird, as the drums are played in a different beat (3/4) than the other instruments (2/4 or 4/4 measure).
"Start Me Up": later work
"Let's Spend The Night Together": must know!

cheesy stuff:
"Backstreet Girl" : cheesy and not rock'n'roll at all - but such a nice melody, ... (famous accordion part)
"As Tears Go By" : total tearjerker, but with a nice melody
"Lady Jane" : cheesier than the two above, but again nice melody; no electric guitar, but dulcimer and harpsichord
