Default Bands Who Took the Biggest Turns Into the Crapper

This is a spin off from the artists you're not impressed with thread. So what bands or artists do you think were once amazing that somewhere went in an incredibly horrible direction? I think Metallica takes the cake, SilverSpoon is right. But I also mentioned Kings of Leon. There are more though. Name them! And give your little explanation.

Well, going off what you said in the other thread about Metallica...I do think the big turning point for them was with the black album, but not because it's bad. It's just not really the Metallica everyone knew for four albums in the 80's. There are good songs on it, but it has a different feel. Same with Load and Reload. I like some songs, but it's just way different. Not to mention they also completely changed their look (I don't care what anyone says, it's just weird that they all cut their hair and bought new clothes at the same time). So Metallica went different before they went bad. I didn't really consider them truly terrible until St. Anger, to be honest.

Others...um...Mariah Carey? Oh, and M2M. Second album was a flop. A big turn away from the bubble gum pop of the first album.

The biggest plunge? I don't know. But I was so disappointed by Bloc Party's latest album. It should be a crime to make as bad music as they do nowadays.

Queen, after News of the World they were never the same again. Same with Styx after Killroy, though some may argue they were never great, those people are wrong.

They are not the biggest but they are all I can think of.

Robbie Williams. His music used to be decent, even though I despise the guy I'd admit he used to make hits, but nowadays... ugh, awful IMO. Talking about his solo career of course.

And um, I'm terribly sorry to say this: Eminem. His latest work... being featured in other people's tracks and... uh I'm so sad. He released the greatest hits album 'Curtain Call: The Hits', and it all started with those new songs on that album. 'Shake That' with Nate Dogg and 'FACK'. Sucked. Then... he quit. Right? And now he appears here and there with horrible songs and even worse videos.
I mourn.
