| Bynes=Love ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like Kelly Clarkson a lot because she brings out a lot of herself in her songs and I think Fergie's songs are just fun sometimes. These are the people I don't really care for: Justin Timberlake - Overhyped Fall Out Boy My Chemical Romance - These two bands just annoy me Avril Lavigne |

This should be a seperate topic: Bands that took the biggest turn into the crapper. Metallica takes the #1 spot, but I'm sure there are plenty more. The question is, which album put them in the crapper? I disagree with many Metallica fans that it was the Black Album. I think that's a fantastic modern rock record. It was different for them and certainly more commercial. But still an excellent album filled with classic songs. Load was definitely the all time biggest crap turn for a great band in more ways than one. Hey Cat! Yeah, I forgot these boards existed. HAHA! | |

| Bunny Gooz ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oh I'm afraid this list is loooong. I'm not too impressed with most dance-music making people. But I guess it's just because I like instruments... and having people sweat and work and bleed and cry and laugh and be there, to create music. Most of the times I don't see the artistic element in the lyrics or the sounds... maybe it's just me, I don't know. Hmm, who could be on this list? Jojo Hilary Duff Lindsay Lohan Pussycat Dolls Ok, there are many but I really don't feel like listing them. Those ^ are just obvious ones, really. |

| Newbie | I never really responded to the topic of this thread so I will now. Obviously there are tons of "music artists" I'm not impressed with and can barely call artists. But one person that sticks out for me is Justin Timberlake. I just think it's funny that people's expectations for him were so low after N Sync that all he has to do it show up on a stage sitting behind a keyboard or holding a guitar and people are shocked into thinking he's some kind of musical genius. I have to roll my eyes when people say he really changed from the N Sync days. I don't see what the difference is between what he's doing now and what he did then besides the fact that he hired some pretty creative producers to help him. |

| Bloomin' crazy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oh, oh! I so agree with The Arctic Monkeys. They're okay and all, but I just don't understand the hype. They're not that great, and they are definitely not the best and most influential to come out of Britain since Oasis...or whatever it is they're saying. |

But I don't see your argument as far as The Streets goes, it's Hip-Hop and rather "grimey" at that, the beats are supposed to be like that, it isn't meant to be some glossy club sound. |
