Iced Earth - Overture of the Wicked

The new Iced Earth single was leaked a while ago. I managed to download it today, and I'm pretty impressed. There's one new song, Ten Thousand Strong, and new versions of the Something Wicked Trilogy (Prophecy, Birth of the Wicked, The COming Curse) from 1998's Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Ten Thousand Strong is your standard Iced Earth song, and a little forgettable at this point (though Jon Shcaffer said on the album there will be a slightly different version). The new Something Wicked Trilogy is really good, though. Very different, but good. For one thing it has Time Owens singing it this time. But some new stuff was added and some stuff taken away (like the awesome piano intro to The Coming Curse...oh why would you take that away?!). Overall a great effort, and I can't wait for the full length album later this year.
