Dem Franchize Boyz/KoRn mashup coming LOS ANGELES, CA Friday Apr.14.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Atlanta hip-hoppers Dem Franchize Boyz and modern rockers Korn have teamed for a monster mash-up.
The two Virgin labelmates are fusing two hit songs into something newer and bigger. Dem Franchize Boyz's hit single "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" will be combined with "Coming Undone," the second single from Korn's platinum-plus album, "See You On The Other Side." The bands got together on Wednesday, April 12th, in a Los Angeles studio to create the new mash-up of their current singles.
"Lean With It, Rock Wit It" is from Dem Franchize Boyz's So So Def/Virgin debut album, "On Top Of Our Game." The disc is newly certified gold.
Along with Dem Franchize Boyz and Korn, other hip-hop and rock collaborations include Run-DMC and Aerosmith for "Walk This Way," and Jay-Z and Linkin Parks' mash-up EP "Collision Course." And Public Enemy has toured with Anthrax and U2. More recently, Kanye West joined U2 for several dates of the Vertigo Tour. |
