The veteran Seattle rock act will return to the road beginning May 26 at the Super Bock Festival in Lisbon and has festival and headlining shows on tap through July 2 in the Dutch city of Nijmegen. Core members guitarist Jerry Cantrell, bassist Mike Inez and drummer Sean Kinney will be joined in Europe by new vocalist William DuVall. He replaces Layne Staley, who died of a drug overdose in 2002. According to Alice In Chains' Web site, DuVall "will not be taking on this key role alone. While we can't name names, let's just say that some European fans are in for some very special treats." It is unknown if DuVall will sing during a planned North American club tour, which will begin May 18. The itinerary for these shows has yet to be announced. Last month, the new incarnation of Alice In Chains performed in Atlantic City, N.J., as part of a VH1 "Decades Rock" episode devoted to Heart. The show will premiere May 5. |

However I'm not really digging the New Cars, I don't know why, everyone else seems to like them. |
