| I visit a place called Musician Forums, and there are some users there who put out a lot of good home recordings. One such guy goes by the name metaljonus, and everything he does is just gold. He's an amazing guitar player with a good ear for arrangement. And he kind of has a trademark, that being his use (or overuse if you want to look at it that way) of harmonization. And when he harmonizes his sweep patterns...*drool*. http://www.myspace.com/metaljonus. Check out Arpeggios of Destruction On a more professional level, I listen to this ska/punk band called The Aquabats. They're not underground, but they're also not that huge. The thing I like about them is their songs are humourous, but not crude, and they wear these crazy outfits. They just make fun music. It's impossible for me to be in a bad mood when I listen to them. |

Want to help me recruit? I use myspace to talk with these up and coming artists. I have already received a few CD's from people and really want to build fanhost music into something good. | |

The Like - Awesome girl band, great indie rock/pop sound. Andrew Bird - Easily some of the best and most original pop music I've heard. Converge - Some serious metal, lead singer's style is unlike anything else I know. Meh, can't think of more right now, maybe later. |
