| Oh damn, from the title of this thread, I thought you were going to talk about best opening song on an album. So um......anyway, I don't know the best opening song on an album, but in recent memory, the best opening song on an album is Bloc Party's "Like Eating Glass". I f'ing love that f'ing song. The drumming is.......and his timing..... how he just jumps in at these weird moments, then stops drumming........then jumps in at this off-time. Its weird and hard to describe. Jack Johnson's new album "In Between Dreams" has a very relaxing, catchy first song, "Better Together", that will be a classic JJ song (if you like him). Its just so darned relaxing. "Times Like These" from this 2nd album, "On and On", is also one of his best songs (in terms of being catchy and listener friendly).
