Bad Religion is alright, The Vandals suck and so does Real Big Fish.

In genereal (I think) punk is garbage.

Let me tell you, it pisses me off that those pop singers make so much damn money, with no talent at all. There are tons of great bands with huge talent that haven't even been discovered yet that should be that big. I mean I live in America so it's damn near impossible not to hear that pop sh!t. :mad:

I had a good laugh at this guy one time. I let him listen to Slayer - God Send Death and he went, "Why don't you listen to rap music, it has lots of swearing in it too". I was like, "WTF you stupid fook, rap is nothing like metal, there are no instruments being played by any of the artists, and as for the lyrics, every single rap song is either about "puttin it to that nigga" or "slappin ma biatch around".

Why the hell would I wanna listen to some crap like that, I would rather chew on my testicles whilst listening to Trapt rather than listen to Eminem [img]tongue.gif[/img]

when you turn on your f*cking radio you eard britney spaers.and you turn off your f*cking radio you brother start to sing madonna.and when you say shut up you mother start to sing jennifer lopez. and when you go to work you eard again some f*cking pop music.and when you go back to your home, your family listen rap music.

The reason people like pop so much is it is easy on the ears but its common sense why bands like Emperor, slayer, Dying fetus, etc....dont sell a millions of records its just not easy to listen to by the general public. The majority of the ppl cant take it when bands like these push the envelope of music and take it in a totally different direction. I dont have a problem with pop music. Or any other type of mainstream music cause I am a MUSIC lover.....but heavy music will always be my passion.
And to me playing music so heavy cuts out your range of creativity it limits you to what you can do. Hince everything sounding the same.
