Ok, lets get some rock topics going here. Let's start with a legende - Jimi Hendrix. What are you fave Jimi Hendrix songs? My favourite has to be 'All Along The Watchtower'. Fantastic song...

Along with Blackmore(Deep Purple), Iommi(Sabbath), Page(Zeppelin)and Jeff Beck(Yardbirds), Hendrix was one of the pioneers of the "hard rock" genre and quite influential in bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden and so on(believe ir or not!)

I wouldn't classify Hendrix as POP, I mean just look at the forum(Pink, Jessica Simpson, Blink), would u put Hendrix along those lines? Self explanatory from there ;)

And BTW "All Along the Watchtower" is a cover that has being covered by ALOT of bands, I would say the best version i've heard is Eric Clapton/Kravitz from Woodstock(check out Eric's masterful phrasing and volume swells, rests articulations, that's SICK!), and ofcourse Dave Matthews Band LIVE!

I like Little Wing and The Wind Cries Mary. Excellent songs.

And the forum is ROCK and pop, so in a sense a Hendrix topic does belong here. Just like how a topic of an animated movie can go in the cartoons forum or the movies forum.
