| Ah, I'm not sure if it belongs here seeing as they're Emo, but I figured it'd belong more in the "rock" section than the general music one. Anyway, who else likes Dashboard? I've been a fan of Chris Carrabba since his Further Seems Forever days and I must say, he has made so much progress. I think what made him stand out in the beginning was his unique acoustic sound and deep lyrics. Though it took getting used to, I'm glad to see him evolve into having a full band back him these days. Has anyone ever been to a Dashboard show? The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It is such a special thing to witness hundreds of fans singing just as loudly as Chris. The vibe is rarely found in any other artist's shows. I love how he incorporates his fans into his entire show too. My favorite songs would be: -The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most -The Sharp Hint Of New Tears -The Best Deceptions -The Brilliant Dance -Ghost of a Good Thing Anyone who hasn't heard anything by him should definitely check them out, or if you're a fan but haven't seen them in concert, I strongly recommend that you do the next time the opportunity presents itself. |

| dashboard is good. my fav song is the brilliant dance and screaming infidelities. i like to listen to them when im sad. lol. but i guess thats what emo is all about, eh? i never understood the term emo. as far as im concerned, emotions range from sad to happy to scared, excited, etc. yet, most emo music is about sorrow and suffering and lonlieness and stuff. alot of the lyrics are brilliant and the music is interesting but i dont like the term emo. but it seems being emo is the cool thing these days. which is ironic because being emo/punk is about non-conformity and originality. which is why i'll listen to everything once. |
