Purchasing a guitar - need help!!

Hey,

not sure if this is the place to post this. I am currently in the states studying for a year an have a few months left before i head back to the UK. I wanna pick up a guitar (electric acoustic) while i'm over here, an am reasonably close to Nashville so thought this would be an excellent place to go an get one. Been searching the net for ages trying to track down any relevant shops etc, but search engine is jus giving me rubbish. I know its a long shot, but is anyone from nashville, or has been there, and knows where the best places to go guitar shopping are.

If this is on the wrong board i apologise, and could someone redirect me to where i could possibly get some help. I have found it difficult finding any music orientated forums.

i've never been to nashville but i'd think a good old fashioned phone book with the yellow pages would be a good start. if not you can always try an online yellow pages like yahoo & just look for music stores.

of course depending on how close you are to nashville there may be a music store much closer to where you actually are. compare a few prices when you find some shops & check those against online stores like musician's friend.
