As Im sure you've noticed his way of discussion could piss off a rock, so its safe to say a few posters in here were annoyed with him for various reasons. But he's a good guy (no, really), once he drops the act [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Bootlegs + other crap. This are audience recordings. Not bad. It's better than what 95% of this site listens to anyways. You could also head over to Emule and download their whole albums plus a couple of live shows on AVI(from The Metro + Athens, they're around 1 GB each)

They're the BEST BAND EVER and I could point out a few reasons why people would/could/should and DO hate them. Very obvious ones. And I stress, they're my favorite band EVER. I wouldn't consider them flaws, I consider them strengths, but other people think otherwise.

1-Minimalist

2-Long songs

3-NO lyrics. Field Recording samples on first 3 albums

4-Anti-Corporate stance(even if they lent "East Hastings" to a Danny Boyle film)

5-Terrible production on Yanqui U.X.O thanks to Steve Albini.

These are just a few that I've heard from random people that complain about them. The dumbest one by far was "My dad would listen to this. It sounds so old". Yeah. Definitely the worst.
