They rock!
What do you think about their new album Absolution? Do you have any favorite songs?

Mine are:
Plug in Baby
Time is Running Out
Butterflies and Hurricanes
Citizen Erased...Yeah, all of their songs really [img]tongue.gif[/img]

They're a great live band, saw them last year and they were exceptional, especially Matt Bellamy. Their albums are getting better, on Absolution I like virtually all of the songs, they're all good.

I bought Absolution late last month. Really good stuff, I agree. One of my few albums without skip-over songs.

I got Showbiz as a present a couple years ago.

Some friends and I are planning to go to Rotterdam on Nov. 6th to see them in concert.

Hear hear! I think its a great album, def a step forward from 'Symmetry' (which was also a good album, altho I think it failed a little towards the end). My fave songs off 'Absolution' would have to be 'Time Is Running Out', 'Sing For Absloution', 'Stockholm Syndrome', 'Apocalypse Please' ...yeah they're all good :D

You forgot Butterflies and Hurricanes, Foo. That's a great song. :D

And BTW, Origin of Symmetry didn't fail at all, because the album has great songs like 'New Born', 'Plug in Baby' and 'Citizen Erased'.
And the lyrics in OoS, they're brilliant! Even the songs towards the end has great lyrics, and a great beat [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yeah I know it has some great songs - but over all i think Absolution is better...

Muscle Museum is definetely my fave song. I'm still waiting for my friend to buy absolution, but so far Sng for absolution and Time is running out are my faves :D

Heard they released a new album but I haven't got it YET. I have thier 2 studio albums and their DVD from France, they're great, only problem being u could probably interchange songs btw both albums and you pretty much get the same thing, the format/structure/dynamics of the songs, Matt's "I want to sound like Thom Yorke falsetto" and the classical arrangements underneath, abit more experimentation when it comes to palette of sounds tho.

Muse is a pretty cool band don't get me wrong, did they get away from the OLD Radiohead sound or are they still going for that on this album?

Muscle Museum is the ONLY song I have ever heard by these guys, and that was some years ago. I was recommended the song by some American girl who I had been roleplaying with online.

The song is very inspiring.
Awesome lyrics.
The beat is very unique, it really sets a mood.
GREAT song, sounds even better in accustic.

Does anybody know any information about them? Like where the heck are they from??

They'r british and they make fantastic music. Run out and buy (doesnt matter what album, they'r all good :D )!
