Has anyone heard about the school that jay-z is behind?

Whatever it is, I'm digging it... like with most things with this guy.

Is it a hip hop academy? I've heard of this concept coming up before from other people in the hip hop community. If so, it's bullsh!t. You don't need to go to school to learn hip hop. If you do, you probably shouldn't be making hip hop. Also, isn't the spirit of hip hop firmly based in DIY anyway?
