| Stonecutter ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I heard this song on the radio at work but I wasn't close enough to really hear the lyrics or who sings it. It has a really cool rythem to it. THe musical chorus goes like this dun...dun, dun...dun...dun, dun and then it has this sort of fast thing to it...I can't tell if its from a guitar or if it's more like a techno kind of thing...its sounds like if you were playing a piano and just hit two keys next to each other alternating them with your fingers...ah crap its so hard to explain but I can sing it in my head its jsut putting the sounds into helpful words so I can find out what this song is. Its all very upbeat...kinda like a feel good song. You listen to it and it just makes you feel good. It's got a bit of a rock thing to it as well. It kind of sounded like a Rod Stewart song, but I'm not sure...then I thought it might be somethign by the Who...again not sure. I know it's been used as either the theme song for a tv show or used as a commercial jingle for a car ad...like for mazada or maybe nissan. Man I hope someone knows what the hell I'm describing cause I really want to get this song and its drviing me mad not knowing who sings it. |

Itīs horrible to hear something beautiful and donīt know where it comes. Perhaps if you say more information of the type: is it a known music? is It new? hears all the time? is it only instrumental? has back vocals? Who knows me or other poster can help you. It's not all instrumental. There are vocals. Can't really think of them right now though. Dang it. It might be a U2 song. [ March 20, 2005, 06:21 PM: Message edited by: solid snake ] |

| I think you just described 33% of the songs ever played on the radio. So it could be Rod Stewart,The Who, or U2?? Next you're going to tell us it could be N'Sync, or possibly The Smiths. ;) Was it a mellow track with guitar in it? Was it rock? Was it soft rock? Was it a slower, more romantic rock song? Was it dance-y? Is it Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Parallel Universe"??? Is it Coldplay's "In My Place"? [ March 21, 2005, 07:17 AM: Message edited by: Abstract ] |

| So.....its not Parallel Universe? Man, I thought it fit your description. If you confused it with Rod Stewart, maybe it was a dancy Sting song from a few years ago. It was called "Desert Rose" and was used in a Jaguar advert in 2000. You said it was in an advert, and got sorta fast. Just go to iTMS (iTunes Music Store) if you want a listen. ;) [ March 22, 2005, 08:10 AM: Message edited by: Abstract ] |

| And its not Sting either? David Gray - "Please Forgive Me. " Beat at the beginning, then some repetitive piano. Scissor Sisters - "Take Your Mama" Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity Okay okay, I have no idea. Really, you're better off recording some of the lyrics or the tune for us, or typing in the lyrics you know into Google. Did it sound mostly of piano with a beat in the background?
