| The Wicked One ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban To Tour - "Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Carnival Ride Tour." The official announcement came that Carrie Underwood will be touring with Keith Urban. "We're just checking things out right now, I'm not going to say it is, I'm not going to say it isn't. I know at the present moment, I think we're moving in the right direction, and for the beginning of next year, it won't be a headlining, but I won't say the end of next won't be, because you never know," Underwood said. "I don't want to count myself out of anything." Keith Urban told E! News: "I can't think of a better person to begin 2008 with than Keith," said Underwood, 24. "He is an amazing entertainer and a well-respected musician, singer and songwriter." The chart-toppers' Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Carnival Ride tour, which takes its name from Underwood's sophomore album, Carnival Ride, and Urban's latest, Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing, will make stops in 24 U.S. cities throughout the new year, including New York, Baltimore, Wichita, Denver and Anaheim. The tour will kick off Jan. 31 in a still-unrevealed city. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Dec. 1. "I'm looking forward to hitting the road with Carrie and to bringing our audiences together for what I think will be a magical night of sights, sounds, songs and solos," Urban, 40, added. The show will include at least 12 number one singles in its set list, 7 of which come from Urban's oeuvre and 5 courtesy of the American Idol alum. Urban's Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing debuted at number three when it was released in November 2006. Meanwhile, Underwood, who racked up two CMA Awards last week, has also enjoyed a banner year, with Carnival Ride debuting at number one on the Billboard 200, selling more than 527,000 copies its first week out—the biggest opening numbers for any female artist in 2007. The first single, "So Small," also hit the top chart spot. Aside from her forthcoming tour with Urban, Underwood has two dates planned for the immediate future. This Friday, she'll appear alongside Reba McEntire, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks and Vince Gill at the Oklahoma Centennial Spectacular. She's also set to appear at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, on May 4. Carrie's official myspace notes the following cities as confirmed venues.
