No Prison Break For Lane

Lane Garrison, who used to be on "Prison Break," finds out Thursday how much time he'll spend in real prison.

He's pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a crash that killed a teenage passenger. Garrison is 27. He faces up to up to six years and eight months. He's been free on bail.

Garrison was driving a Land Rover December second when he lost control and rammed a tree. The crash killed a 17-year-old boy. Two other passengers, both 15-year-old girls, survived.

Wentworth Miller of "Prison Break" says he thinks Garrison is handling the situation "with as much grace as possible." He says "it's obviously a tragedy" and his "heart goes out to everyone involved because so many lives will clearly never be the same."

Not to say that Lane should or shouldn't get more time, but I would've thought that the punishment for that offense would be much harsher. Maybe it was his first time drinking and driving?
