Lightbulb "Prison Break" Discussion Thread #2

Since we don't have the forum anymore, we should just have a treath about. If the thread is popular maybe we'll get the forum back.

This topic will contain spoilers of the episodes that have aired in the United States of America!!!!

************************

Convinced that his wayward brother LINCOLN BURROWS (Dominic Purcell) was wrongly convicted of the sensational murder of the Vice President’s brother, which landed him on Fox River State Penitentiary’s death row, a desperate MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Wentworth Miller) attempted a daring bank robbery in order to get himself incarcerated in Fox River with Lincoln. Michael, an engineer with access to the prison’s structural design, then masterminded an elaborate plan to free Lincoln by pulling off the ultimate PRISON BREAK.

Aided by an intricate tattoo of the prison’s blueprints covering his upper body, Michael aligned himself with his lovelorn cellmate FERNANDO SUCRE (Amaury Nolasco), former mob boss JOHN ABRUZZI (Peter Stormare), homicidal pedophile “T-BAG” (Robert Knepper), the well-connected “C-NOTE” (Rockmond Dunbar) and CHARLES WESTMORELAND (Muse Watson), a man Michael believed to be the infamous skyjacker D.B. Cooper. On the outside, Michael’s only ally was his defense attorney and Lincoln’s former girlfriend VERONICA DONOVAN (Robin Tunney), who protected Lincoln’s targeted son LJ (Marshall Allman). Veronica’s quest for the truth led straight to the White House, Secret Service Agent PAUL KELLERMAN (Paul Adelstein) and the power-hungry Vice President, CAROLINE REYNOLDS (Patricia Wettig), whose brother, in secret, is very much alive.

Overcoming many setbacks, the brothers and six other inmates ultimately escaped from Fox River. The prison break had its consequences, however – Michael was forced to betray his father figure, Warden HENRY POPE (Stacy Keach); prison doctor SARA TANCREDI (Sarah Wayne Callies), who was instrumental in the escape plan and had romantic feelings for Michael, relapsed with drugs and overdosed; and Westmoreland died of injuries sustained in the escape, but not before revealing that he was indeed D.B. Cooper – and providing a clue to where he had hidden over $5 million in cash.

Outside the prison walls, the escape truly begins as the convicts race for their lives – and the hidden cash –while trying to avoid capture by the authorities. The pursuers are led by vengeful prison guard Captain BRAD BELLICK (Wade Williams), who, driven by a personal vendetta, will stop at nothing until the escapees are captured or killed.

PRISON BREAK is executive-produced by Brett Ratner (“X Men: The Last Stand,” “Rush Hour”), Paul Scheuring, Matt Olmstead, Kevin Hooks, Marty Adelstein, Dawn Parouse and Neal Moritz.

I just saw coming attractions for a new TV show on TNT (USA). called Heartland.. Treat williams is in it and the actor that plays with him is C note. I know C note is not the major actor on PB but he is a main character. im glad he is finding work . But now I wonder if he will be the next to go ?

yeah, you´re right erinmarie, it´s really addictive. I guess I will watch it always now.
And Wentworth is really a hot guy, can´t believe he´s already 35.
When I saw him the first time I thought he is maybe 28 or something.
But I´m bad in guessing people´s ages.

I don´t know, I guess it´s just the first season. But I´m happy they show that in Germany now, cause this series is really great and I can´t wait until next Thursday.
And they show two episodes everytime, that´s great.

How´s his real voice? has he a nice voice? deep?
I wanna hear it.

PRISON BREAKING NEWS

NEW PRISON BREAK BOOK
Prison Break: The Classified FBI Files by Paul Ruditis is a new book that offers the most detailed look at Prison available to the general public. The book is packed with comprehensive profiles of the fugitives, accomplices, and prison personnel; detailed photos of Michael Scofield’s tattoo; schematics of Fox River Penitentiary and a detailed reconstruction of the escape plan; reproductions of source material, including newspaper clippings, family photographs, and documents retrieved from Scofield's hard drive; an update on the manhunt for the Fox River escapees, including eyewitness interviews and known fugitive sightings; and postings from a mysterious blog about the conspiracy surrounding Lincoln Burrows, which allegedly reaches the highest levels of government.

PRISON BREAK MAGAZINE #4 ON NEWSSTANDS NOW
The latest issue of the official Prison Break magazine is loaded with interviews, including Stacy Keach, Sarah Wayne Callies and series creator Paul Scheuring. Fans can also catch up with Dominic Purcell and go psyche-diving as the magazine explores the mind of his TV brother, Michael. As if that wasn’t intense enough, prepare yourselves for a real shock as the magazine (carefully) opens the files on a certain Theodore Bagwell…

EPISODE RECALL
So you think you know all there is to know about Michael Scofield? Test your knowledge by answering these tough trivia questions about the man behind the prison break:

Q. Where did Michael Scofield attend college – and how did he afford it?

Q. What bank did Michael attempt to rob to get sent to Fox River Penitentiary?

Q. What is Michael’s prisoner ID number?

Q. What is the name of Michael’s ex-wife?

Q. On which foot did Abruzzi’s thug sever Michael’s toes?

Q. Why do Michael and Lincoln have different last names?

Q. On what date did Michael begin to serve his sentence – and how long was he sentenced for attempted armed bank robbery??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE RUMOR MILL

See if you can name the Prison Break episode from the excerpt below…

Michael: We gotta put this whole thing on hold.
C-Note: Whoa, whoa easy Fish. We’re not puttin’ nothin’ on hold.
Michael: I don’t think you heard me. Until I get my brother out of that hole no one’s doing a damn thing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE INSIDER

The Official Prison Break fan club’s insiders – production assistants Christian Trokey and Kalinda Vazquez – go behind the scenes to answer fans’ questions.

Bree: I read a rumor that one or the brothers will be killed. Now as a huge fan of the brothers I hope this isn't true. I think if you kill one of the brothers it'll kill the show. Kill a brother kill the show. I was wondering if that rumor is true, which I know my question won't be answered until season 3 but I hope it’s just a rumor. Kill one of the brothers than you kill the show.
Insiders: The rumors about killing one of the brothers are completely unfounded. Right now, there are no plans to kill either Michael or Lincoln. However, as we've learned over the course of two seasons, the body count on this series can get mighty high.

Kostas Retsis: Prison Break is the best TV show ever. Do you know how many seasons are they planning to do?
Insiders: Right now the sky is the limit on how long Prison Break will run. As long as the writers feel there are good stories to tell, they'll keep plugging away. We're all keeping our fingers crossed Michael and Lincoln will be around for years to come.

Shannon Liedel: I have always been curious as to how you and others who work on the show came to be in your current job. What path did you take?
Insiders: Well each of us followed a different path to get here and hailed from a variety of different backgrounds. Some of us came up through the assistant ranks, working for other producers or writers in order to gain experience and exposure to the medium. Others were professionals in their own right beforehand --movie executives or lawyers, who decided they wanted a change of pace and decided to pursue writing for television. One of us even came through the ranks as a crew guy, working in the camera department.

If you have a question for out Prison Break insiders, send it to PrisonBreakVIP@yahoo.com.

“Fortunately, the interactions face-to-face have been very positive. By and large I hear, "I never miss an episode,” which is the highest compliment. I did go online, which I wouldn’t recommend, and read some chat rooms about the show. It’s like reading someone's diary. I don't do it very often. Someone posted something that said: ‘I just found out Wentworth is British. I guess that explains the crap American accent.’ Which is both untrue and unflattering
