He's pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a crash that killed a teenage passenger. Garrison is 27. He faces up to up to six years and eight months. He's been free on bail. Garrison was driving a Land Rover December second when he lost control and rammed a tree. The crash killed a 17-year-old boy. Two other passengers, both 15-year-old girls, survived. Wentworth Miller of "Prison Break" says he thinks Garrison is handling the situation "with as much grace as possible." He says "it's obviously a tragedy" and his "heart goes out to everyone involved because so many lives will clearly never be the same." I feel bad just in general about this. |

Gossip website TMZ reports that shortly after Garrison took to the stand on August 2, Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Elden S Fox remanded the actor for a diagnostic, meaning he'll be sent to a California prison for 90 days while psychiatrists determine whether he's a suitable candidate for parole. TMZ added that Fox may let Garrison go free after he's served the three months in jail. The district attorney protested again the diagnostic, arguing that Garrison should serve four years in prison. Fox's verdict came not long after Garrison testified about the events of December 6, 2006, when he crashed his Land Rover into a tree and killed his 17-year-old male passenger Vahagn Setian. Beverly Hills police later revealed his blood alcohol level was .2 per cent and that he had cocaine in his system at the time of crash. Garrison will be sentenced on October 31, and faces up to six years in prison. http://www.yourtv.com.au/news/?i=122555 If they think at the end of the 90 days he's suitable for parole, then he goes free. And there is a good chance that, that will happen. He got a good deal, seeing how Paris went to Prison for 21 days and nobody died. |

First, here's Dominic Purcell, who plays Lincoln. The brackets are my commentary: "Season three is the best season so far. [I can't wait for the day when a star says something like, "Yeah, we're really phoning it in this season."] We're back to what we do best, which is the whole prison thing. It's a lawless prison, which if you've seen "Midnight Express" is like this crazed environment. There's no structure within the prison walls. You have Panamanian drug lords. You have Colombian drug lords. Mass murderers. Rapists. There are no roles. You have Scofield having to deal with all of that. And then you have Mahone and he's losing his mind because he doesn't have any pills. And you have Bellick, who's wearing a diaper in the first six episodes. [OK, I know I wasn't the only one freaked the hell out at the sight of that last season.] And theyn you've got T-Bag, doing his thing to survive. [T-Bag doing his thing: again, a scary concept] It makes (Fox River) look like a five-star resort. It's just really cool. It's very intense, dramatic. It's highly entertaining. Again, I think it's our best season. Dominic also said, "Lincoln's going to get laid twice." He then semi-backed off on the statement to say that he'd be trying. Apparently, both the new female characters, Susan B. Anthony and a character played by Danay Garcia, may get a taste of some Linc lovin'. Amaury Nolasco, who plays Sucre, was also present. But sadly he was not as free with the spoilers as Dominic. He did say, "We're pushing the envelope. The writers are doing a phenomenal job." He even said the envelope's being pushed to the point where it's not even clear if some of the end product will be allowed on TV. "I have to say it's a no-man's world where we are going. It's a prison where guards aren't even allowed, so that tells you a little about what's going to happen. It's interesting in that respect." About poor kidnapped Maricruz, Amaury says, "There are a lot of loose ends we're going to eventually come together with and stories we're going to have to come to an understanding or leave them hanging a little longer. That's one of the stories. Sucre's doing the search for his girl and we'll see in the first few episodes what will happen with that." And finally, he closed by saying, "What I love about the show is it keeps reinventing itself every season into something different. It takes people for a ride." So I'm pretty psyched for Season 3. How about you? |
