The time is overdue for it's own thread. Especially with the much anticipated premiere/release of At World's End. And to start it off right...

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Walt Disney Company is helping to make wishes come true for children all over the world by donating proceeds from the highly anticipated World Premiere of Walt Disney Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer Films' "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and Make-A-Wish® International, it was announced today by D:ck Cook, Chairman, The Walt Disney Studios. The event will take place on May 19th at Disneyland® Park in Anaheim, California, with all of the film's stars expected to participate. This gala celebration for the third installment of the enormously popular "Pirates" saga will raise $3 million for Make-A-Wish efforts, with Disney providing an initial donation in excess of $1 million to the charities, in addition to underwriting the entire cost of the Premiere (so that 100 percent of the ticket income will benefit both Make-A-Wish organizations).

I am getting so EXCITED!!! Thank you EVER so much for the pics! Where I work we do balloon bouquets, and we're getting a POTC mylar balloon! I'm so excited to see it because we had no picture when we ordered it!

That is precisely what I was thinking T! Will do! It might not be in for a couple weeks (there's been some mix ups with our orders over the past couple months so we're getting everything at the last minute) but I'll post it ASAP!

Gertrude, I think he's only being held prisoner. Will seems to go through that a lot. I can only image what he's gotten himself into this time.

I'm sorry. I felt so guilty that I didn't get there last week. I went visiting today. I know I have to do better. And I intend to. I've been devoting a little extra time trying to help this one keep going. Which is probably not the best time since he's decided to take a break for a while since the end of shooting Pirates 3.

Anyway about Will and his many trouble situations. Maybe I should have said I can only imagine what troubles he's found himself into - whether it be what Jack has gotten him into or himself by trying to rescue Elizabeth and now his father or what he's mixed up with in the East Indian Trading Co. Somehow he always ends up bound and often times also wet.

I was just afraid that his character would be killed. But I know that whatever trouble he’s gotten into again his Legolas skills would help! I wish he would have his bow handy.

That would be an interesting little twist, wouldn't it.

As to the demise of Will. If the rumor about a P4 in the works that does not include Will and it is only written of his death, I'd rather see it in AWE. Let him have that big, heroic, glorious death so I can walk out of the theater bawling and knowing I don't have to see any other Pirates movie after this.

Aww, Legolas. I wish we'd get more Lord of the Rings.

Anyway, the movie is going to be interesting. And Orlando's acting has improved greatly, I loved him in the other Pirates... movie. However, I am sort of afraid that they will put even more focus on Elizabeth and make Orlando's a smaller part...I don't like Elizabeth much, she's too whiny.

Oh, I can't stand Elizabeth either. And your fear is my fear. With the new featurette I'm feeling a little better. It's looking like Will's got his own story line without her. That really doesn't hurt my heart. My wish would be for Will to get together with Zoe Saldana's pirate character from the 1st movie. They looked really good together in Haven.

I never saw Haven, but I remember her character. She had such a small part though, I don't want to agree or disagree, I've seen too little of her. Well, there's obviously a lot of focus on Jack Sparrow, which is fine by me, I like his character. I did feel like the whole story with the heart in the glass of sand was a little too much in the previous movie (the second one), but I love Johnny. He's the star of the movie anyway. Elizabeth...? Neh.

There is a rumor that Orlando will be killed in POTC4…but Disney Reps dismiss that as hearsay. If OB is no longer in Potc4, as some still claim, and if what Disney Reps say is also true, then my dear Will would probably die in POTC3.

That rumor has been floating around since that latter part of last year. And every time someone decides to index their files that damn rumor comes up again. The writers talked about a possible P4 during their commentary for P2, but it would probably be a couple of years down the line after the actors have had a break. Also I think that rumor and the way it is stated is so disrespectful.
