Midsomer Murders

Has anyone else seen the episode Orlando was in? It's called Judgment Day and it's from 2000... 7 years ago already!

Anyway, I remember watching that episode after I had seen Lord of the Rings. It was a pretty good episode I would say. Not only did it have Orlando in it, but it also had a pretty good storyline. Though I must say that the coolest thing about the whole episode was that they had named a house Lothlorien, and that they mentioned Lord of the Rings. And what do you know, just one year later Orlando appears in The Fellowship of the Ring. Is this just a coincidence? Anyone know? If not then that's just brilliant.

I did think his acting was a bit...dramatic. Haha, I mean, theatrical. Maybe that worked in this case?

I've only seen his part of that episode on You Tube and was able to download that part from somewhere else. I don't remember now. I didn't know the other stuff. Maybe because it wasn't included. I love stuff like that coincidence, fate. It was his destiny.

I've been on the lookout for the full episode on TV. They've been running the show on BBC-America. Haven't run across it yet. 2000, that's a good time ago. I hope they go back that far in their re-runs or I'm going to be out of luck. That's not good.

Nope, I didn’t see that one…but do you know where I can find clips of OB there in that series? But I read his name is Peter Drinkwater there. He must have played a role big enough to have a full name, right?

Oh my gosh I had forgotten the Lothlorien thing!! I saw it after LotR too and I got so stupidly excited that they named the house something LotR related - it was like prophetic! Thanks for reminding me of it!

I am pretty sure I have this recorded on video somewhere actually!

You can find the episode on YouTube, just search for "Midsomer murders judgment day" and you should find one version that has about 14 clips of so. Watch them in order and you should have seen the whole episode.

Not directly. But you can, the link Cat posted tells you how. I have used keepvid, it works. But you also need ether a flash player or a converter.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I don't think I have either one of those.

I was able to download Orlando's portion of this episode from a website dedicated to him. I don't know if I'm allowed to post it here though. I'm being lazy. I should probably look it up.

Well, just linking to the video would be hotlinking, so as long as you don't upload it yourself, you shouldn't link directly to it. Seeing as TV downloads are illegal, I'm pretty sure the best thing would be to link the site or just PM the info. I'm going to check up on this, though.
