The New Forum Logo thread

Okay, so it's about time this forum gets back a logo. And what do you know!? You are very invited to take part in a little competition; make a logo and post it here. Later, we will make a poll where people can vote for all the logo's that have been submitted. The prize if you win the vote? YOUR logo at the top of the forum page, for everyone to see! Just like in the Whatever forum or Jennifer Love Hewitt.

There is only one requirement: It has to have a width of 232 pixels and a height of 175 pixels. So go on, be creative!

Oh, and this is also the place to post pictures if there's one you would like to see in the logo.

I have made some to start off with. They are very similar to the ones Janice has posted in some of the other stars forums. Why? Because I like her style and think it would be cool for the logo's to look somewhat similar. This is not a must though, so go out and play with whatever style you want. I just found it to be a little odd looking when I made the background behind him black because of all his dark clothes and his dark hair. He kinda disappeared into the nothingness, and we don't want that to happen, do we? I would love some feedback.

Ooh good logos - great pics (especially the closer up one) and a nice clean font!

I totally agree with you about making it look like the forum logos match - thats kinda why I did the Eliza logo like I did cos it went with the menu bars - I wasn't aware there were ones like this style though lol.

Anyways really great stuff, I like them!

Well, the whole denim/purple idea is great, I love it! I do hope someone else will post more logos though. Either that or I'm going to have to make some more soon.

Ah - I did mean picture lol - Looks cool cos its very un-Dean-like lol. Thanks for the tip - I'll know where to look now lol.

Sorry, that was a bit OT - Anyways, just to add something useful, I think the purple idea sounds like it could be quite cool - not seen any other purple going on in the forum so that's a plus lol. My initial thought would've been green but that's only cos of Legolas probably lol - I don't think its the best overall though lol.
UPDATE -So I click onto OB forum mainpage and whats the first thread that greets me - "Orlando goes green" - weird lol!

HELP HELP I do have an idea for logo but like I've said before, posting pix is my own little nemesis. I'm going to see what I can do.

I know this one is dark, but I really love it.

As to colors - I'm to the indigo/demin as long as they are dark and deep so I can see them.

Well, the second one is really easy to blend into a black background. We'll just get the face and the name, nothing else.

Haha, I'd say it can be both, but in this case it's a good thing. Other forums seem to have chosen the "fading out" look
