Fame Affects Bloom's Friends

Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom hopes he can hang onto his old friends - because his fame is hard on them too.

The actor often praises of his pals for helping retain a sense on normality - but, he admits, the distance can make their relationships difficult.

He says, "It's been an adjustment for my mates at home because the more publicity you do and the more your face is in magazines or on TV, the harder it gets.

"When your friends read about you more than they get to see you, then you have to keep reassuring people you aren't changing.

"I'm completely computer illiterate and haven't sent an email in my entire life, so I can't keep in touch that way, but I do keep up with friends."

Yeah i read something like this before..i think its inevitable(sp?) really...it is a shame though..but yeah chris I hope his break does help..he deserves a break hes been working nonstop for aages! [img]graemlins/orbit.gif[/img]
