| Bunny Gooz ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ah, I love this too. I would imagine these are the kind of experiences kids (and other folks) remember and look back on as something that changed their way of life, behavior, etc. Presentation- and drama classes are so worth the embarrassment you feel in that moment. It can teach you so much about yourself... the way of communicating, standing, feeling, interacting. Way to go, Josh! |

If You Dare follows a group of children and the adult artists who mentor them in a theater program for at-risk kids. From inner city Minneapolis to the White House, from the heart of the largest Somali immigrant community in the U.S. to the stage, from a teenager's effort to break out of a family history of teenage mothers to attend college, the stories of the children of the Chicago Avenue Project offer a view from the inside, of the highs and lows, struggles and obstacles involved in a small theater company's effort to use theater to make a difference in the lives of children facing the challenges of inner city life. Stay tuned for exciting news regarding the final stages of post-production, broadcast and festival plans, and outreach. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Camino; 08-12-2009 at 11:44 PM..
