Josh exits Chateau Marmont...

...in an ambulance? He certainly looked ok but I'm sure we're thinking of him and his companion.

Josh Hartnett was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital early this morning, ending his night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

The 911 call came in at 12:53 AM and the caller said abdominal pains were the issue.

The ambulance picked up Josh at about 2:00 AM. He walked on his own power -- no stretcher was needed.

Well that's certainly not good news. Maybe another case of food poisoning? Or an ulcer? I guess we'll find out soon. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Josh! Or maybe it was his friend?

ET has the latest on the condition of actor Josh Hartnett, who was spotted getting into an ambulance last night outside Hollywood's famed Chateau Marmont hotel.
Hartnett, 30, was taken to the hospital around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning after complaining of severe stomach pain and was kept for observation of a gastrointestinal disorder, his publicist tells ET. The publicist says she received a call from Hartnett around 2 a.m. stating that he was fine.
The condition is the same one the actor suffered from while performing in the play Rain Man in London back in November 2008, when he was sidelined for a few days.

Yikes that's bad news... Hopefully he'll recover really fast.
That paparazzi guy is just a tad clueless, I mean he shouts "Josh!" when he's just getting in, as if he would get back out and tell him everything...
Anyway, I'm glad it doesn't seem to be anything too serious.

We must develop a bunny cure, which of course also requires the accompanying bunny care!

lol yes i was thinking the same like, why the hell is he shouting? as if Josh would come out to him. hello man? he was getting into an ambulance to get taken to hospital. so he probably had other problems then answering some creepy paparazzi *shaking head*

yeah it sounds really bad and painful. I mean stomach flu is already horrible, but this sounds even more painful and bad. best wishes to Josh. hope it´s not too serious.

TMZ update;
We're told Josh was in "excruciating pain" last night, because of gastrointestinal issues. We're told he may have picked up some sort of stomach virus while shooting a movie overseas, and he's had ongoing stomach issues as a result. He's seeing a specialist today.

And more reliable news from Susan;

Actor Josh Hartnett is "resting comfortably" after a health scare landed him in famed Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A.!

Hartnett was staying at Chateau-Marmont hotel on the Sunset Strip when he was stricken with abdominal pain.

Hartnett's reps released this statement regarding Josh's trip to the emergency room:

"Josh Hartnett walked into an ambulance at approximately 1:45 AM this morning suffering from a flare-up of a gastro-intestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the West End of London during the production of "Rain Man." Publicist Susan Patricola added, "He is under observation, but is resting comfortably."

The star is currently working on three movies scheduled for release in 2009.

But what bad luck for Josh to be at that particular hotel at the time!

shooting a movie overseas?? what does that mean? or is it something he took home from romania and that´s why he had it in london also once?
otherwise it would be intersting to know which movie and when, as he was in either new york or LA recently?

but I can imagine how bad it must be, stomach pain in worse

Looks like it was something he picked up before he was in London, as he had a bout of it then. So Romania or maybe even earlier, these things can linger for a long time.
