Remembering Rain Man - Josh in London

I just thought about that we maybe could have a thread to remember Rain Man, the time Josh was in London to just share our favorite stories or pictures or experiences we had during that time?

well I start with my favorite picture from the stage door of Josh
don´t know exactly why I love that picture so much but I loved it from the first moment I saw it

hope you guys like to share your FAVORITE experiences, pictures etc.

I did make up a collection of my pictures and experiences, but can not find a way of posting it here..... l'll try and give it another go later.
pictures from when Karo and mags first came over, and julia. my first meeting with Kate and kay and my day out with you. stagedoor and soho....wow great times.
However l don't feel sad, l feel l've had a great chance at seeing and talking to my favourite actor. Making some great new friends, and enjoy remembering the laughs l have had along the way, with new and old friends.

I feel very blessed x

i´ve seen rain main twice and both times were fantastic, specialy last saturday...sorry i didn´t take pictures, but i´ll never forget the weekend

I wouldn't even know where to begin though

but here's some mini highlights

. Seeing & speaking to Josh for the first time ever
. The opening 'Rain Man' office scene... wow!
. Josh saying my name back to me! & talking briefly about MATW
. Meeting the fabulous Bunnies!
. Meeting the lovely Adam Godley
. Seeing & reading about Josh almost everywhere in london, (from newspapers & posters, to the TV etc..)

There's so much more!...

yeah true, my memories are:

- seeing the play (what a feeling when Josh appeared on stage for teh first time in the spotlight)
- meeting josh at the stage door when he was arriving at the theater the day after
- travelling to London all alone, and visiting a beautiful city
- meeting really lovely people who kept me up there

- etc...

well - you know, in the play there is this one scene where he puts his shirt on and have to buttoned it - but he did it wrong, the face he made was so cute as he noticed that, so he had to re-buttened the shirt and buttoned it again
i don't know how i could explain the face he mades as he was standing there on stage and noticed that, but it looks just so cute the face he madee *sigh*

you know one of my memories when I saw the play was, at the end, when Josh is sitting there with those two guys and when they ask Raymond where he wants to stay, with his brother or at the other home where he used to live.
and I guess it was when they were asking Raymond what they did in Las Vegas and when Raymond said they were couting cards, the whole audience was bursting into laughter and I could see that Josh (he was leaning forward in that moment, his arms leaning on his thighs) had to grin and try to not laugh also, cause there was also a break for a few seconds of the play in that moment, which didn´t seem usual, before Josh went on with his speech.
but that smile, that grin in that moment was just so cute. and he also made a very little move with his head that made me think that this was really a reaction to how the audience was laughing in that moment, which maybe helped him to not start laughing also.
I asked people about that scene in the play, if that was usual, but everyone I asked said it´s not, so seems it was really him, almost laughing also. sweet!

Well it's been a week since the last show so here goes my best bits;

*Those first night nerves and not just Josh's! Sitting with Soss and Kaysudo and Karo and Mags when he first appeared on stage, so much nervous energy.
*Seeing Josh later on but having a great night out with some fab new friends.
*Sightseeing with Kay; a wonderful time with my newest friend!
*Alone for the 27th September matinee on the front row and being moved to tears; amazing performance from Josh. Then getting an autograph in my copy of The Virgin Suicides for Op when he appeared unexpectedly at the stage door.
*November; freezing cold, soaking wet waiting for him to no show, thankfully with Mags for company. Then later 2 more no shows.
*Finally, chance to ask Josh a couple of questions with Soss, what a lovely guy.
*The last day; seeing him arrive, the matinee, the final emotion laid show, then the dream like moment when Kay and I were called out of the thronging crowd by the special lady in charge of the show and the theatre. Waiting backstage for Josh, surreal... then being introduced to him, shaking hands, talking about the play, giving him the gift I had for him and taking Kay's picture (nearly falling down steps as I did, in attempting to get get Josh and Kay in the same frame!).
*Meeting so many lovely bunnies, including Paris and Jody for the first time and a misty eyed tube ride home!

It's just been the best time ever! Thanks again, to the girls for the pictures and especially to Soss.
