| Newbie | I would like to ask a question, just curious of what your thoughts are on the subject: With movies such as The Queen of the South, Wuthering Heights, A Mighty Heart etc., how important do you think it is for the director to stay true to the soul of the book by casting actors/actresses that are the ethnicity of the people or from the country/region portrayed in the book? |

| I heart Joshtopia ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | sometimes the directors and casting directors can see something in the actor suitable for the part and maybe we can't see it just yet. Actually I sent to the IMDB forum for Queen fo the south, and some thought that selma hayek and penelope cruz were more suited for the part than eva. |
