yeah I watched thet interview a few times lately, cause itīs a fun interview. but the part where he dissed Pearl Harbor was mean, and I think Josh was great in it. here in Germany everyone was saying Josh played Ben on the Wall, means Josh stole all his attention and was the real hero in that movie!

I agree with critics...it wasn' a great movie. Don't get me wrong the performances were great. Its just that it was factually incorrect and was a bit too cheesy for me. They tried to make it like Gone With The Wind...and it was no way near.

i do love gone with the wind that is a classic but i thought pearl harbour was a great love story too not factually correct which is annoying and i did think he played ben off the screen that jonathan ross interview is very good though i dont think he was being mean to josh he was just being a critic

Yeah, this movie is a good entertainment, but not more...
Jonathan Ross was critical, that's right, and it's so good that a "journalist" says what he really thinks about a movie when one of the actors is there!
Moreover, I don't think this kind of movies (especially Bay's movies!) are the best for actors, to show their skills... They are good to make actors famous (not bad after all! then, actors can act in films they really want to be in).

Well said Joy... Bay is such a terrible director for acting and actors.
To me it's as bad as Titanic but obviously popular with a lot of people. PH didn't bomb at the boxoffice but it did cost a heck of a lot to make and market.

right and maybe it was the diving board for Josh into his career, but still, he choosed a better way, which is great.
and itīs cool he chooses the movies now cause of the directors he wants to work with and not cause he wants to be famous with them and make money.
heīs so decent, I love that!

I must agree with you all here. It is along the same lines as Titanic, and l thought both films were 'cheesy'. Watchable, and enjoyable. But l do cringe at some of josh's lines in the film.
But hey, it served its purpose and he looked sexy! xx
