Thanks Laura, interesting stuff. To me, I'm ashamed to say the word "Bunraku" meant nothing before this project began and so I still think it sounds like a cool title for a film, better than something cliched like "Vengeance" or "The Drifter".

Hmmm, that's a good point.

Thanks for the news on Demi Moore's arrival. I'm so glad any time I hear about this movie getting mentioned in the news. :D

It's funny, after seeing the bloody" photo of Gackt, a friend of mine was wondering if he had had his hair in a bun. Looks like she was right.

here is the describtion to the storyboards from the Bunraku Blog:

storyboard designer Neil D'Monte has updated his myspace page with three new storyboards, these feature the three leads. Josh in hat, Woody driving, Gackt in the back of a car, being chased by some sort of thugs.
Even though Bunraku is spoken of as a samurai meets spaghetti western, it does feature cars and motorcycles as seen in these storyboards, no mention as yet if these scenes are to be used in the film.
