Talking foreign language

Hi Everyone

I have 2 questions :

Which foreign language Josh has studied at High School ?

Which Music he listens ? i read U2 that 's correct ?

As regards a foreign language, is it obligatory in the US to learn a foreign language (at High School) ? I don't know, maybe it's not, it may be just facultative. Does somebody here could say if it's wrong or not ?

No, its not obligatory in the public school system as far as I know, which is unfortunate. I think foreign languages should start in Kindergarten and continue on through HS. Language studies increase brain functioning, encourages interest in other cultures, and discourages ethno-centricity.

It is usually obligatory in private schools.

Maybe He takes French or Spanish, I heard that student in Minnesota take French a lot

But Do you know Where I can listen him speaks a foreign language ?

Maybe in a interview or a movie ?

I remember an interview where he spoke a little bit french, it was at the time of "Wicker Park" (because he shot that movie in Montréal, where they speak french). don't know if somebody remembers that and could help you... But it was (for me because I'm french) quite funny to hear that!

I don't speak french but it will be nice how Josh speaks in another language.

other musics bands that he likes Marvin Gaye, Leadbelly, Bob Marley, Beastie Boys, the Foo Fighters...

and the The Cheiftains a famous Celtic band that why he's Irish !!!
