and that was one of his best performances ever
and it´s a shame this movie haven´t had a chance to be seen in theatre, cause I guess he has gotten an award for that performance. he was really so good in that movie

Mary and I went to the Autism Society of America national conference in July and ran four different workshops. While there, we ran into an old friend, Dr. Edward Ritvo of UCLA. Ed is now retired but has a new project; a new way to diagnose Asperger's. He and Dr. BJ Freeman, who diagnosed both of us, were part of the team that wrote the definition for Aspergers in the last reference, the DSM-IV.

At any rate, Dr Ritvo still teaches in the psychology graduate program at UCLA and is using both the movie and our last book with similar name in his classes. He is interested in helping us get the movie and book used at other universities. That says a lot for the authenticity of both.
