According to someone on imdb, there's an interview in Premiere Magazine with director Bruce Robinson who says filming will begin in Pueto Rico in spring 2007.

Sadly the only actor who's been cast so far is Johnny Depp... but I'm still praying Josh gets Yeamon. (And as we speak, he does seem to be available).

Me too Annie, ever since I read the book about 3 years ago... Josh would be just perfect as Yeamon and those sexy beach scenes would be awesome!

RAR!!!! I finally quite paying attention to this movie because I kept getting frustrated with it and I was all peaceful and now I have that itch again lol! I just really want to see Josh work with Johnny Depp. That would just BLOW MY MIND!!!

Maybe they are going to cast Scarlett in the role of Chenault (I think she would be perfect in that role, what do you all think?), so they might not want Josh for Yeamon since they both already are in the Black Dahlia together. Just some thoughts...

You're right, Scarlett would be just perfect as Chenault and with Josh that could make for some powerful scenes together... of course Josh has said he and others invovled have the rights to the book and he might co-produce again but he has to be Yeamon too!
